With This Ring I Thee Wed...

3 months ago now, two of the world's most beautiful human beings wed in what was said to be a beautiful day at the stunningingly iconic Boone Hall Plantation. Yes that's right, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were married in a very intimate ceremony in South Carolina, where only 35 guests attended. And it's only now that we are beginning to see a small glimpse into their special day...

This cute picture shows the couple holding hands, with Ryan flashing off his wedding ring, and a tiny  view of Blake's gorgeous silk tulle gown. The Marchesa gown featured a fitted bodice, illusion crystal beading on the shoulders, and rose-gold embroidery. The groom opted for a Burberry suit trimmed with leather braces designed by friend Christian Bailey.

The ceremony was held in a rustic type barn, an the reception within a marquee at the plantation famously showcased in the 2004 romance film The Notebook - every girls dream wedding venue right!? Singer Florence Welch serenaded the newlyweds and their guests with three specially selected songs, whilst they all stuffed their faces with fancy, and rather delicious looking cakes and sweet pastries. Described as an avid baker, Blake wanted a dessert array filled with the couples favourite treats, and this is certainly one heck of a dessert table.

The brides bouquet was formed of pink jasmine, andromeda, dusty miller, and blushing bride hydrangea; with the petals dipped in rose gold glitter to compliment her similarly coloured adorned couture gown. All very elegant, and simple, and downright beautiful. Maybe one day we will get to see just one wedding photograph to show off the full extent of that gorgeous wedding dress, and give us a bit more of a feel for the day. However for now, we shall just wait - how long are we betting until the couple bring into the world possibly the most beautiful baby ever...
