Jumper - New Look
Aztec Print Skater Skirt - Boohoo
Earrings - Accessorize
Studded Boots - Primark
I like to try and look like I've made a little bit of effort when I go into uni considering I do a fashion course, but this ridiculously cold and icy weather is making it a little difficult to resist the urge to throw on a hoody and jeans. Though this winter my faux fur coat has been my saving grace, it is so so cosy and big and warm and just generally amazing.
I hate thick woolly, itchy jumpers that just bulk you up, so I always go for a nice thin one that can be layered up. I love this New Look striped one, burgundy is one of my favourite colours and you can't see in the pictures, but it has small gold stitching running through it also. It's just very easy to throw on with jeans, or as shown tucked into high waisted items.
We all love a good black skater skirt. Come day or night, dressed up or down, it always does the job. I really dislike the wet look skirts, as I just think it makes an otherwise really nice item look very cheap. It had to be matte for me. The subtle aztec print in the material just makes it a little different to the masses available at the moment.
I don't tend to wear earrings really as I always bloody lose one of them - though the ear cuff and odd earring look is in so I could get away with it... Anyway, yes with my hair up I have to wear earrings so these cute little bird ones from Accessorize are perfect. Subtle and doesn't take focus away from the rest of the outfit.
And finally the boots. The ever faithful Primark boots. I think these may well be the only pair of shoes I own that are actually waterproof, although they aren't the most grippy shoes, which does make negotiating my way to uni through the ice covered park a little dangerous. But simply black studded boots are easy to wear with absolute everything, they're definitely the most worn shoes in my wardrobe!
