Beautiful Bridal Boutique at Net-a-Porter...

For my final major project at university I am in the process of creating a wedding magazine. Unlike a dissertation, the research for this is actually rather a lot of fun. I get to research incredible designers, go to bridal boutiques and select dresses for shoots, write lots of articles on fun DIY projects, and do lots of moodboards - what's not to like!? 

In the process of doing said research, I came across a selection of some absolutely stunning, if a little different, wedding dresses on Net-a-Porter. Their exclusive bridal range has been teamed up with a number of incredible designers including Nina Ricci, Giambattista Valli, and Antonio Berardi. So I thought I'd share my favourites with you, cus lets face it, engaged or not, we all dream about the perfect wedding dress...

Giambattista Valli, £4347

This is 100 million percent my favourite - it is just stunning in every sense of the word. The silhouette is incredible, and the intricate detailing of the lace upper half is beautiful. But it's the ruffled bottom that steals the show for me - so unique but ever so understated at the same time. I want this for my photo shoot! Amazing!

Rochas - £5517

For those who want a more traditionally shaped 'princess' dress as I like to call it, then this gorgeous Rochas dress is the one. The optional belt cinches in the waist with a simple elegant bodice to leave all the drama to the full skirt. The high neck is in keeping with the simplicity of the dress, though the lower dip at the back of the neck flashes a little skin to the otherwise covered up option. Perfect with a hair up do. 

Issa - £2700

Lace everywhere! This stunning fitted dress is created using french lace, flowing out slightly over the legs to allow for more free movement. The underslip of the dress covers all necessary areas but shows just a subtle amount of flesh around the chest area. Issa is well known for flattering and feminine shapes and so this is a beautiful addition - very vintage looking, lovely!

Lover - £2495

A very different style here to the other more common shapes, this dress even incorporates some underwired cups under its masses of leavers lace. The dip hem is very on trend and allows for some kind of middle ground between a long or short gown. The button detail up the back of the dress is just stunning and probably my favourite part - have a look on the website for yourself!

Are any of these the kind of dresses that you could envisage yourself in on your big day? The Giambattista dress is certainly what I'd like - unless I win the lottery though I can't see that one happening. A girl can dream though right...
