21st Birthday Celebrations...

Hey there my beautiful, lovely followers. Apologies for being so ridiculously crap at blogging the past few days. It was my 21st birthday on Sunday so I went home for the weekend to celebrate for my birthday and I've got 3 exams this week so I've been revising like crazy. I'm about to go clinically insane so I thought blogging would be the perfect 15 minute break with a cup of tea and slab of birthday cake. Bliss.

I thought I'd just share with you some snaps of my weekend as I had such an amazing time. Keep an eye out for my birthday presents post as I got some really cute sentimental bits from my family which I'm excited to share. I've also got a couple of people reviews lined up and some pretty new clothes so I'm sure some outfit posts will be coming up. But for now, a little peek into my birthday celebrations...

I was pretty hungover so excuse my face in this picture, but I wanted to show you the incredible cake that my Mum made me. She is just insanely good at baking and this extremely chocolately, and extremely sickly cake is surrounded with kit kats and covered with maltesers and sparkler candles which are clearly captivating to my little Libby Lou. So yummy, it went fast!

I had to steal this picture off of my sister's instagram as my phone died and I didn't manage to get a picture myself, but we went to the outdoor theatre at Kilworth House in Leicstershire to see My Fair Lady which was just incredible. My family love musicals so we thought this was perfect and something a little different. It's on until July 14th so I'd definitely recommend going along - though don't forget to take a blanket if you go to the evening performance, it can get a wee bit chilly.

The girls in Southampton sure know how to treat me aye - what a lovely thoughtful card and sensible present. Paha. Such a good night out with them. As my birthday is in June we usually are all finished uni so this is the first birthday I was able to celebrate with them which was just brilliant!

It wouldn't be a weekend home without a few pictures of my beautiful sister. She will probably go crazy at me for doing things like this when she is older, but for now she is cute and can't talk so I'll go ahead and do as I please. Her curly hair after bath time is just adorable, I couldn't resist taking a picture.

The one and only picture of my night out with work pals courtesy of snapchat - and I think that is probably for the best. Lots of sambuca was consumed, but a great night!

My beautiful maxi dress from A-Wear. I didn't manage to get a picture from the back, but it is beautifully cut out and the light material makes it perfect for the summer. Hopefully the sun decides to make a return and I'll get up an outfit post for it as I absolutely love it!

Me and my younger sister ready for the threatre. And yes, I am aware she looks like the older one.
