Primark at ASOS...

Along with the whole blogsphere, and internet as a whole in fact, I am so so happy that Primark have finally decided to join the 21st century and sell their clothes online, through the one and only fashion power house ASOS. Like River Island, students will get the added bonus of being able to get student discount through ASOS than they would do shopping directly through the store. What is not to love? Primark low prices, and an added discount, AND all from the comfort of your own bed! Sounds pretty ideal to me.

The partnership is said to be a limited trial of 20 items of womens clothing to provide the Primark franchise with an idea on their online retailing viability. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a hit. Online shopping has become such a huge phenomenon in the past couple of years, and is so much more convenient for the working fashionista to keep up with the latest trends without having the brave the crowds of the bustling city's to get a glance on the high street shelves.

Personally I love online shopping. I love being able to have everything I could possibly want to look at on the screen in front of me, neatly arranged - no rummaging and bustling and barging, a cup of tea in one hand, and a rapidly decreasing credit card balance in the other. So far there are only 6 items of Primark clothing available on ASOS, so keep your eyes peeled for new additions in the coming days. But for now here are my top 3 - check out the rest here. Happy shopping ladies.

I'm a huge fan of midi skirts in general, so throw in some print and I'm on it. The fact that it is monochrome just makes it a million times more up my street, and it would look perfect with the strapped sandals shown in my Zara wishlist (see here). It's like it was made with me in mind! And £8, plus discount. I mean it's just asking to be bought. I love the styling here also, the top is such a cute, casual teaming.

Now this isn't the kind of thing I would usually go for, but I saw Hannah Crosskey rocking it with the much loved Zara skorts that I recently got, and I just fell in love. I would never, ever, ever think to even team these up with tailored shorts - jeans and denim shorts are a much more safe option, but God I want to try otherwise.

I already have a studded shirt from Primark which I wear probably too much to be socially acceptable, but it is just such an easy piece of clothing to wear. I'm a big fan of denim on denim at the moment (sorry Jessie J) and a slightly lighter wash of denim is definitely needed. You can never have enough denim in your wardrobe as far as I'm concerned.

  1. Oh my goodness this is the best news I've heard all year!! (Haha okay, maybe a tad of an overexaggeration) but this is so great! However, my bank balance will definitely suffer, oops! x

    1. Haha, I'm so glad they're branching out to online though, it's been long awaited! I'm intrigued to see what other items they select to go on the site!
