Earlier this week I did an interview with the founder of La Mode Bracelets for online magazine Gossipdrip. At the age of 18 I thought it was incredible how well Holly was doing for herself, running her own business and actually succeeding at it. The article has had a lot of hits online and over twitter, so I thought I'd include it on my blog for all my lovely readers to have a look at, and check out La Mode. So here goes, hope you like it...
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Twitter is one of the most brilliant places to get yourself noticed and get new, brilliant ideas out to a massive audience. And Twitter is exactly where I found this brilliant up and coming business for hand crafted Swarovski bracelets that people have been going totally crazy over inrecent months. La Mode.
I caught up with 18 year old entrepreneur Holly Ingram this week to find out all about her new venture:
ON BUSINESS:
“I’ve always known I wanted to start my own business and I love jewellery and sparkles so I started making my own. I’ve been self employed for a year, and run the company by myself. I work 7 days a week, up until about 9.30pm every night making the bracelets- it’s a very very demanding job!”

ON TWITTER:
“Being a small business I have to rely on free advertising, so I opened up a Twitter account and got celebrities to retweet me – Jamie from Made In Chelsea was the first to do so and I got 200 followers in 10 minutes! I can’t thank everyone on Twitter and my family enough for all the help and support they have given me.”

ON CELEB CLIENTELE:
“4 celebs have my bracelets so far – the runner up of Dancing On Ice; Laura Hamilton, glamour model Danielle Mason, Dan Mathews of Geordie Shore, and Cheryl Fergison otherwise known as Eastenders Heather Trott, and I hope to have A LOT more wearing La Mode this year.”
