Just A Quicky...

Had an absolutely mad couple of days, between university, and going out, and taking advantage of the student shop in, and trying to fit in some sleep, I've literally not had a spare minute to take any pictures so today's post comes in the form of a review of sorts.

I won't bore you with all the ins and outs of the product ingredients and the scientific reasons for it's effect. But what I will say, is that it is amazing and I love it.

I don't really do a lot with my hair if I'm honest. I've killed it enough with the horrendous amounts of dye I've shoved on it, so I tend to blowdry it and leave it. The extensions get put in for a night out - got to make a bit of effort, but come the day it's down and natural, or in a messy bun. There are my options.

Saying this I love colouring my hair. My hair however does not. At present, I'm a pretty nice (if I do say so myself) shade of pink/purple/red which I'm going to call 'plum'. However, because of how dry the ends of my hair are, due to previous dying and styling, the colour always fades extremely quickly and ends up being a completely different colour to the tops of my hair.

So after a fresh load of dye 2 weeks ago I've been using the dove shampoo and conditioner as shown above, and I promise you, it's the best colour product I've used. It makes my hair so so SO ridiculously shiny; but not greasy, somehow has made the colour look brighter (if that is at all possible), and the ends are still going strong. For now.

I haven't actually tried the leave in conditioning spray, as I tend not to like using leave in products as my hair is quite fine and it feels too heavy, leaving it greasy. However, if anyone has used it and would like to let me know how they got on, that would be great.

A pretty short and sweet post, but I thought I'd let you know the basics rather than boring you with a really long in depth post. But if like me, you struggle keeping your hair at the colour you love, definitely definitely give this a go. At £1.24 you can't really argue.

  1. I've been using this and sadly it's not working on my hair, I usually use bedhead so may have to switch back. Glad it's working or you though :)

  2. Oh really. I think it's cus I've just dyed my hair so it's locking in the colour. I did love bedhead though. And I really really love Bumble and Bumble thickening, but it's just a bit too expensive for me at the moment. xxx
