Bookworm...

Just a quick post today, as I've been mad busy catching up with friends before I shoot off back to uni, and working this evening. But I'm loving getting back into my blog now, and really enjoying writing again! Thank you so much to all you lovely readers who've got me to 25,000 views! I love reading all your comments, and hearing your views on Twitter, so thank you very much!

As for today's post, not quite the normal form of beauty or fashion - something just a little different. This year, rather than making one resolution to last the whole year, which in no way will I manage to maintain, I have decided to do a resolution for each month, a goal/aim if you will. January: to read a book.

Now that may sound pretty weird to you, but I'm not much of a reader. I used to love it as a kid. I was a HUGE Jacqueline Wilson fan, and the Harry Potter books - well I can't even begin to describe how much I love those bad boys, but now I've kind if lost my touch with reading. A pretty odd thing for a journalism student I guess, but it's much easier to pick up a copy of ELLE or Company magazine and flick through the articles at leisure, rather than sit down and really delve into a book.

But today that's all changing. I picked up this book from Tesco, as for some reason it immediately caught my eye. I didn't really know what to go for seeing as HP was my last reading experience. But humorous, a bit of a love story, and a laid back tone seem the perfect factors for me, so at £1.95 I thought if give it a go!

One chapter in, I'm liking it. The basic storyline is a two people who were crazy in love, all went to crap, haven't spoken for 10 years, and then begin talking again and everything came flooding back. To her. Such a relatable story: that one ex that you just can't shift those feelings for.

I'm so gonna get completely hooked on this book, I can tell already. Who knows, maybe il read two books in January!

If any of you lovely readers have any recommendations for me, I'd love to hear them. I'm hoping to be quite the bookworm in a few short months...
