So everyone's favourite socialite Kim Kardashian has announced that she is expecting a baby with rapper boyfriend Kanye West. How cute!!!
Kanye announced the couples news on stage at his concert in Atlantic City, shouting to the crowds: "make some noise for my baby mama right quick" In addition to this, Kim's extensive family took to social networking site Twitter to express their excitement for the expected new member of the brood.
The beautiful, but so far unlucky in love Kardashian wrote on her website: "It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us."
Not one to shy away from her public appearances, Kim and Kanye were out in full force last night at 1 Oak Nightclub in Las Vegas, raking in a reported $300,000! Not bad for partying it up Vegas style aye!? Kim looking a picture of health, glowing in a more demure than usual black lace Julien McDonald midi dress showcasing her famous curves - no sign of a bump though as of yet.
Thought to be around 12 weeks pregnant, the couple will be expecting their first child at the end of June, and I'm sure the world will all be holding their breath on the name - hopefully not something quite as alternative as Blue Ivy, although like that child it will have such an ace family that they could be called binbag and still be the most popular kid in school!
So with this news all coming about, Kourtney already having two children, and Khloe trying who thinks that the Kardashians may be designing a maternity range in the near future? It's definitely got to be on the cards!
But for headliner Kim, no matter what she wears, good or bad - she is always in the tabloids. So I'm going to take a look at my favourite outfits from the beautiful Mum to be as I'm sure we will be seeing plenty of banging maternity outfits to come...
Laid back; blouse, blazer, shorts and heels. I wish the LA weather would make it's way over here so we could pull off outfits like this in England!
I love this dress, the colour is divine! A little too much cleavage on show, I won't lie, but her curvaceous figure and classical hair somehow make it look not too much.
Kim always seems to look like a movie star, her hair is always flawless, and her choice of gowns incredible. I love this lace floor length gown, her figure looks amazing.
Mustard yellow is one of my favourite colours at the moment. It is for this colour that I am considering dying my hair back brunette. But anyway, this dress is perfect cinched in at the waist and floating down to ground, very slimming - and looks stunning with Kim's hair colour.
Jumpsuits are a new addition to my wardrobe. I was never really sure about them as I'm not particularly tall so I didn't want to look like a little oompa loompa. But ones like above that cinch in at the waist are ideal for me. I love the print on this one too - right up my street!
And a jumpsuit that can be dressed up and down like this is even better. Kim says that this is her jumpsuit to travel in as it is 'so comfortable' - a pretty stylish way to travel, I think you'll agree.
I'm assuming this is a dress, I don't really know, but I found it on Kim';s blog and I adore the colours and mixtures of texture. I want an excuse to wear something this beautiful!
If there is one thing I'm not a fan of it is ripped jeans. I just think they look dirty and old and just no. However, once again Kim manages to pull it off. Teamed up with a blouse and blazer they just manage to look rather dressy. Not sure I could make these look good like Kimmy K though.
Good old mirror pose - it seems Kim is a little more like the rest of us than we may think. This ensemble is probably the most like my style than any other I've looked at. An oversized tee, and leather panel leggings. I want this tee so so bad - do Givenchy do a high street alternative!?
And lastly, dogtooth. It's been a massive trend in the past 6 months, and this dress/coat is a beaut. I'm not sure about the slit up the front, but the low cut and the cinched in waist give it a beautiful shape. The red lips really set it all off too.
What are your favourite Kim looks? I definitely love her casual style, but she always manages to add a touch of Hollywood glam to everything. Style icon of 2012 definitely.
