Embellishment and Disco...

Last night I went out with my housemates for Emily's belated birthday cocktails at the Slug and Lettuce in the city centre. It was a nice excuse to dress up a little and have a good old gossip over some yummy 2 for 1 cocktails. Though we ended up having a couple more than intended it was so nice to have a girls night out and not end up paying for it in the morning. Definitely going to have to make it more of a regular occurrence!

Blouse - ASOS
Toe Cap Heels - Tesco

My friend actually gave me this blouse earlier on in the week because her boobs were getting too big for it. Kerching! Sometimes small boobs do have their advantages - like pretty blouses like this one. I love the blue peacock feather print, and the embellished collar really dresses it up. It's a lovely fit also, not too tight, and not like a tent. I like the fact that the sleeves are slightly baggy also. Really comfy and so pretty.

I haven't worn my disco pants in ages, and I may have had to do a few lunges and star jumps to get into them - I forgot how tight they were. But they do look pretty damn good. They are so flattering - probably because they suck you in so much so you cannot possibly have any fat bulges at all, always good! They make a welcome addition to jeans, and make the outfit look pretty sophisticated. I need to wear these much more often now that I have rediscovered them.

These shoes were an absolute bargain in the Tesco sale, £7 - what a steal! Someone even told me last night that they though they were a pair of Kurt Geiger's, I shall take that! They are so comfy, hitting the nail on the head with the monochrome trend, and the toe cap detail is all over the place at the moment. I'm not usually a fan of small heels, it's sky high or nothing, but with these they just work.

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I actually managed to have a ridiculously productive day yesterday, and plan to do the same today. Bring on the piles of uni work, tidy room, and workouts. I shall be doing a post shortly on the workout classes that I've been doing online - so for those of you who are into keeping fit keep your eye out.
