Print Combo...

She's been named model of the year, has graced a ridiculous amount of catwalks during fashion week, and has done the first model Harlem Shake accompanied by Jourdan Dunn and Rosie Tapner backstage at the Topshop Unique show. She's at the best parties, award shows and is constantly hanging out with celeb pals; but it's her fun and quirky style that I love most about the 20 year old model.

More commonly seen in leather trousers and tees, Cara went a wee bit more alternative during some time out at New York Fashion week, sporting the Jeremy Scott Bart Simpson skirt and jumper combo. How cool is it!? I would never normally think of wearing something like this, but I actually really kind of want one. You can get one similar here, but for my style steal I've looked at printed jumper and skirt combos, so here you have it...

This 'Bang' motif skirt and jumper combo by Topshop is ace and I really want it! The colours are not too overpowering and allows for many options with accessorising. Topshop skirts always have a really flattering fit, and the high waisted and crop combination flash a little bit of skin without being too much. A simple red beanie hat from ASOS, nice thick knick and the colour is so nice!

It was extremely difficult to find a rucksack that was blue and red, and wasn't disgustingly tacky, so i went for the next best thing - black and blue, and Topshop so you know it is good. And I love that it has lots of pockets to store all the bits and bobs that you want to access without having to rummage through the entire contents. Lastly, although you cannot see in the above image Cara opted to team this outfit up with some tassled wedge boots, and I found a lovely little copy on Amazon. I would prefer it if the sole was black also, but I think they are so cute. I have a flat pair already, but I think a wedge pair would be a welcome addition.

Is this bold print matching outfit something that you would go for, or do you think it is just a little bit too much?

  1. I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to wear the jumper and skirt combo! But I like the Topshop one so maybe just the jumper/just the skirt on its own.
