Festival Fashion...

After managing to get V Festival tickets on Friday, and having every single finger crossed to bag myself a Glastonbury ticket on the re-sale in April; but it got me thinking about what looks I want to go for when camping in a possibly muddy field and booty shaking quite possibly in the pouring rain to Queen Bey. Let's face it, it's an English summer and I'm not holding out my hopes for lots of sun. However, I will still be dressing as if it is gracing us with it's presence. Seeing as I will be there Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I thought that I'd show 3 looks that I may be opting for come August...

I've been eyeing up these dungarees for a while anyway, so I think V festival is the perfect excuse to purchase these for - the same with the UH-MAZING nike blazers. I originally wanted the grey pair, but now I've seen these it was literally love at first sight. If it's too muddy these may not be the most practical, but man will they look good. Dungarees teamed up with an oversized baggy tee, comfortable, no danger of overheating, and pretty festival chic. Teamed up with a messy bun on top of your noggin and you're good to go.

Every festival requires a pair of wellies, right!? And there really is no other option than Hunters. Ridiculously comfortable and you can get those lovely little welly socks to prevent rubbing around your legs - ideal! They are a wee expensive but they are definitely an investment buy. High waisted shorts are a given, and will no doubt be a staple in your wardrobe over the summer months anyway. A cute slogan tee shoved over the top - day two's outfit: sorted.

Teamed up with the standard black Hunter wellies of course, an oversized shift dress is the perfect festival chic look. Cinched in at the waist with a nice summery yellow belt, and pulling in the colour with the yellow sunflower headband. A backpack is essential to hold onto all of your goodies, without having to worry about keeping hold of a clutch, or an across the body constantly whacking your leg. This is definitely my favourite look of the three.

Are any of you lovely readers attending any festivals this summer? What trends are you planning on showing off?

  1. Absolutely love all of this! Love festival fashion as you can just throw wellies on with anything!
