A christening is one of few excuses to dress up nicely without fear of being too formal. I opted for a cut out back electric blue midi from ASOS. An absolute bargain at only £25 and available in black and did his also. Have a look for yourself here. Libby's beautiful dress came from Monsoon and the cute little cardigan complete with ribbon tie was made by my incredibly talented Nan. As a christening gift I bought her a really sweet christening bangle from Argos. I thought it was something lovely she could wear on the day and a keep sake for the years to come.
It was just a lovely day filled with good food, lots of laughs, and great company with all of our family and friends. It was certainly a welcome weekend off from all the masses of uni work I've been swamped under for the past couple of weeks. But that's enough of me talking, here's the pictures which say more than enough!
Chilling in her dressing gown before the big day
Cuddles with Lou before the ceremony
Mummy, Daddy and Libby by the font
Big, happy (and very smiley) family
Tiny bangle, for a tiny hand
The incredible cake our neighbour made!
And not to be left out, my Mum's ultra cute, ultra yummy baking
She is absolutely gorgeous! Lovely Christening outfit honey xxx
