VMAs Fashion Faves...

It seems like people were really trying to stand out at the VMAs last night, and it really wasn't for all the right reasons. But rather than slate those who slightly veered off of the fashionable path, I thought I'd share with you my top three outfits of the night. Those who kept it relatively simple with a fun little twist. 

Selena Gomez looked absolutely sensational. This Atelier Versace cut out, very daring side split dress is the perfect mix of sexy and sophisticated. I love the mix of lace, satin and bold embellishment - this is completely up my street! The simple make up with a splash of red lippy keeps the focus on the dress and with her trademark flowing locks she looks every inch at home on the red carpet. Though I can't help but think she would really rock a bob style cut...

Wow. Taylor Swift is looking mighty fine here, no doubt trying to make a certain 1D boy feel a little bit stupid and I'm pretty sure she achieved that. She oozes vintage glamour in this beautiful Herve Leger gown complete with short curled hair do. Miss Swift has been vamping up her wardrobe recently with a bit more sex appeal to shake that 'squeaky clean' look and I think she has hit the nail on the head here. I love it. 

From sexy to sweet, Alison Williams looked lovely in this high neck mini Valentino number. Steering away from all the black and navy the Girls star kept it simple and elegant with a sophisticated up do and smoky eyes.
